Meet Amber, an experienced therapist and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who primarily works with adolescents and young adults, offering therapeutic support during critical periods of development, transition, and self-discovery. Often, Amber’s clients attend due to feeling stuck in painful patterns of self-doubt, disconnection, and emotional overwhelm – experiences that are frequently rooted in early relational wounds, complex interpersonal dynamics, or unresolved trauma. She provides a compassionate and grounded space to explore these difficulties and support meaningful change.
Amber brings a neuroaffirming lens to her practice, working inclusively with neurodivergent clients who may experience masking, burnout, sensory sensitivity, identity confusion, or difficulties navigating relationships, education, and work. Her approach is collaborative and person-centred, respecting each client’s unique experiences and values.
Drawing from a wide range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, family systems theory, and somatic therapies. Amber tailors her support to meet each individual’s needs.
