About Kim

Meet Kim, an experienced social worker and mental health professional with over 15 years of experience supporting adults through complex life challenges, mental health concerns, disability, and significant periods of transition. Kim brings a calm and grounded approach to her work, creating a space where people feel genuinely heard, supported, and respected.

Kim understands that people often reach out for support during times where life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or simply harder than usual. This might be after a workplace injury, navigating stress or burnout, adjusting to changes in health or independence, managing anxiety or depression, or trying to make sense of life during periods of transition and change.

Across her career, Kim has worked within hospital and health settings, community mental health, and the disability sector. This experience has strengthened her ability to advocate, problem solve, and work collaboratively with people experiencing complex circumstances.

Her approach is person-centred, solutions-focused, and grounded in building strong therapeutic relationships. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and works alongside individuals to better understand their experiences, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support emotional wellbeing and day-to-day functioning.

Kim works with adults of all ages and is committed to creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and able to move forward at their own pace.

Kim works with adults of all ages and welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. In addition to social work and counselling, Kim also provides professional supervision for social workers and human services practitioners, supporting reflective practice, professional growth, and sustainable wellbeing within helping professions.
